COVID pandemic is still unpredictable and the WHO has been with high alert warnings globally. Second wave of the pandemic have shown us the terrible phase with many patients being infected with Mucormycosis. The key to successfully treat these patients was to pick up early clinical picture and diagnose the condition quickly so as to aggressively treat in time with minimum destruction.The topic of my presentation encourages all the dental surgeons as how to minimize the possibility of Mucormycosis in Covid affected population and when to have high suspicion index to prioritise the affected patients for treatment and rehabilitation.
